Short Biography
Danae Stamatopoulou is a psychologist, graduate of Panteion University. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Public Health from the National School of Public Health. Her engagement with existentialism began in 2009 through her training as an existential psychotherapist in the four-year program of “Gignesthai” the Hellenic Association for Existential Psychology, where she now serves as a trainer. She is a member of the Hellenic Psychological Society (ΣΕΨ), the Federation for Existential Therapy in Europe (FETE), and is a certified psychotherapist with the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP). She has worked in psychosocial rehabilitation structures as a therapist (ΑΝΙΜΑ ΑΜΚΕ ΜΚΟ) and coordinator (ΚΕΑ ΑΜΕΑ), and collaborated with the Municipality of Acharnes, organizing the counseling department and participating in the execution of judicial mandates. In recent years, she has worked privately as a psychologist and existential psychotherapist. In addition to her psychology studies, she holds a degree in piano teaching and music theory. In the past, she taught piano and music theory at the Ariadne Conservatory, the Hatzivei School, and offered private lessons. Currently, she works privately with adults and adolescents at her office in Agios Eleftherios, Athens.
