Peny Karali, MSc

Short Biography

Karali Peny is a psychologist MSc and an existential psychotherapist. She graduated from Panteion University of Athens Department of Psychology and holds a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology from Panteion as well. She was trained as an existential psychotherapist at the four-year program of The Hellenic Association for Existential Psychology ‘’gignesthai’’. At the present, she is a member of its training and supervisory team. She has been trained in Adult and Adolescent Psychopathology at the 1st Psychiatric University Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – Aiginiteio Hospital, where she excelled and subsequently became a member of the teaching team for the Psychopathology Seminar – Panagiotis Oulis, in 2013. She holds a license for the administration of psychometric assessment and evaluation tools (TAT, CAT & SAT, MMPI-2). She completed her internship in the Short-Stay Unit of Aiginiteio Hospital and at the Society of Social Psychiatry Panagiotis Sakellaropoulos in 2011. She has worked as a psychologist providing psychological counseling and mental health services in private clinical psychiatric hospitals, in human resources and refugee camps, and for several years at the Ministry of Education in primary and secondary education, general and professional school units. She currently runs her private practice in Nea Ionia, working with adults and adolescents.
