Marina Agrimaki
Short Biography
Marina Agrimaki is a Psychologist and Existential Psychotherapist. She studied Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with distinction. She completed her specialization in Existential Psychotherapy at Gignesthai, the Hellenic Association for Existential Psychology. During her studies, she carried out her clinical internship at EPIPSY (University Mental Health Research Institute), specifically at the Community Mental Health Center of Papagou Municipality. There, she worked with individuals across the spectrum of psychopathology and participated in interdisciplinary teams alongside professionals from various psychotherapeutic approaches. Currently, she is a member of the training and supervisory team at Gignesthai. Her academic background also includes studies in Classical Philology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and at University College London (UCL). She has a particular interest in ancient Greek, Latin and contemporary philosophy and poetry — especially in how this body of literature reflects the timeless human experience and contributes to the free expression of emotions, personal narratives, and the exploration of meaning in life.
